Purpose:This assessment allows students to demonstrate their ability to identify, research and analyse issues/problems in the banking and finance industry in Australia, and develop supported recommendations taking into account stakeholder expectations. Students need to develop their analysis and findings, with conclusions as to the probable future relating to the problem/issue, into a professionally presented, 2500 + 10% word essay.Research Requirements: students need to support their analysis with support from the text and a minimum of 6 suitable, reliable, current and academically acceptable sources – students need to demonstrate an awareness of the validity of their sources in their analysis or use of the sources.Better marks for research and analysis will be granted to students who have wider relevant research use appropriately.Presentation: 2500 +10% word essay format – Word .doc or .docxTitle page, appropriate paragraphs including introductory and concluding paragraphs, reference list (Harvard – Anglia style), attachments if relevant.
