Please discuss some problems associated with race & ethnicity and/or sex & gender. These characteristics are often used to treat people differently and sometimes unfairly. Give your own personal thoughts about the importance of race and ethnicity, and sex or gender. What examples can you point out where race or gender are used for discrimination, prejudice, and mistreatment? You can also choose to talk about any positive aspects of dividing people into groups based on sex or race.
