Examine complex interactions between religion and other social structures, such as economy, professional sports, polity, and family, and how globalization affects religious traditions. Write an essay on a topic of civil religion that you consider sacred or important. The topic might be about politics, a sacred holiday, why people follow and consider major league sports team sacred. You can even combine several themes. In the paper, include the following: Explain any sources of inspiration you drew on in creating this paper. Explain why you chose this topic.
