As a personal example: your Course Developer recently completed a two-hour block of instruction on the subject of sexual harassment in the workplace. Since my “workplace” is my study over my garage in suburban Oklahoma City, and neither my wife nor my dog is likely to file a complaint against me, I definitely felt this training was a complete waste of time. It was, however, required under California Law.Tell us about your own OJT. Was it timely? Relevant? Worthwhile? Who delivered it – local staff, or a contractor? What was done well? What could have been done better? Critically; did anybody follow up to ensure that the training was meeting its stated goals?
