In my opinion, educationis always an important topic in any society because it determines our future and helps us achieveour goals. My three main reasons for being in school would be to increase knowledge, to obtainnew experiences, and to prepare for a better career for my future. I’m attending school toenhance my knowledge and understanding in the field that I am studying. I’m currently going formy bachelor’s degree in Computer Network Administrator. I plan on becoming a computernetwork engineer who oversees a large corporation. I’m attending school to have the hands ontraining and the knowledge to know how to manage and operate anything pertaining tocomputers and networks. Once having all the skills I need, I will then be ready to go out into theworkplace to find a better career.The primary reason I am in college and something I have got to be grateful for is ourarmed forces support system and giving me the opportunity to go to college while serving I amcurrently active duty army. The reason I joined is because I liked the idea of doing somethinggood for myself and my country. I’ve always had the opinion that I think everyone in the nationshould serve at least one term because the military is who protects us while we sleep. And, eventhough, a person may hate the military, everyone does enjoy what freedoms they have, right?My second reason for being in college is I want to obtain new experiences and new jobopportunities. To be in a work environment would have to be one of the most amazingWHY I AM GOING TO COLLEGE?3experiences one can go through. It may be a bit intimidating at first, but once being put out therein the real world, you can embrace many opportunities that come along with it. There arechances for raises, promotions, or even manager positions. With all these, you can get a grasp onsuccess.My third reason for being in college is to prepare for a better career for my future. Oncehaving my bachelors I plan on either working for a large corporation such as a bank or to simplyjust work as a Computer Network Administrator at a regular school. Within time, I plan oninvesting for my future so that when I feel that I am financially stable, I then can start thinkingabout my family and providing for their every need.
