The beverage aisle portion of markets is filled with tie-ins to many movies and cartoon characters, many offering special deals/discounts, but also filled with calories. Consumer groups, many of whose members are parents, have expressed their concern about this advertising/marketing, and the impact these beverages may have on the health of kids. A group has suggested a change to regulate placement of ads to obscure them from the vision of kids. Discuss the legal and/or ethical aspects of the foregoing.
